A millennia-old story lives beneath the surface of Naples, a journey to discover the close bond of faith between the city and its patron Saint Gennaro. Naples is one of the most striking examples of a city where history can be traced through its "layers". Between ancient Greek Neapolis and the city of today, there are not just millennia, but meters of underground. The past is not encased in glass or forgotten, but peeks out in certain points of the present city.
